Nic Coolidge is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. In addition to his Americana and ambient music under his own name, he creates and performs live techno under the moniker JULIA.

As a guitarist, he has played with a slew of touring bands. In the summer of 2010, playing with Notar, he joined The Counting Crows and Augustana in The Traveling Circus and Medicine Show Tour. Nic has worked with Swiss Chris (drummer for John Legend), Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), Augustana, and opened for Alicia Keyes at Cayman Island Jazz Festival, playing with Elle Varner (MBK/ J Records Artist).

As a producer, Nic has released music on Boysnoize Records, Last Night on Earth, Bpitch Control, My Favorite Robot, PRMD, and Houndstooth. Some artists he has worked with include: Maya Jane Coles (KNOX remix), Paula Temple, Sasha, Throwing Snow, Robot Koch, Strip Steve, Jori. Recently, Nic teamed up with Sterling Fox (Baby FuzZ), the songwriter behind Lana Del Rey’s “Video Games”, helping track and produce his upcoming release. He has also scored music for a variety of different video projects and advertisements. Some clients include: Epic Bar, Zico, and Chef Driven (PBS). Nic is a creator for the sample pack company Samplephonics, based in London.
